Bishop Toby Morgan has served as the Administrative Bishop for the Church of God in New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, and Virginia. He currently serves in that role for the Church of God in South Carolina.

 

He is a graduate of Lee University and has a master’s degree from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary, both in Cleveland, TN.  He has served the Church of God as a local youth pastor, pastor, State Youth & Discipleship Director, and State Council member. In addition to serving on various national boards, he was honored to serve on the World Missions Board, including tenure as Chairman. His outstanding contributions were futher recognized at the 2024 General Assembly, where he was elected as a member of the Executive Council of Eighteen.

 

The Morgans have two sons, Stephen and Andrew (Kristal). They also have grandchildren who are the light of their lives, Pierson, twins Kinley and Reese, and Kylie.
 
 
The most exciting, challenging, and enjoyable part of Bishop Morgan’s ministry is his 25 years of pastoring. He has been blessed to pastor some great and innovative churches such as Sherwood COG (Birmingham), Pathway Ministries (Mobile), and Sumiton COG, all in Alabama.
 
 
Writing is another facet of Bishop Morgan’s ministry that he finds fulfilling. He is the author of numerous articles and eleven books (Can God Move Here, If I Could Find That Church, An Acts 2 Church in the 21st Century, God Are You Through with Me, More, Redigging Ancient Wells, Wolves at the Door, Living for God in Baal’s Shadow and A Funeral Guidebook for Ministers, Walking With The Master: God With Us, Walking With The Master II, Responses to Jesus) and is always working on the next project. Diane Morgan is a graduate of The University of Alabama in Birmingham with a degree in Secondary Education and has a MEd Degree in School & Agency Counseling from the University of South Alabama. Diane has worked as a Teacher, School Guidance Counselor, Private Therapist, Music Pastor and Administrative Assistant.
