Thomas S. Gillum
Prior to coming to South Carolina, Bishop Gillum served as the Administrative Bishop for the Church of God in Missouri since 2006. During his tenure, Missouri experienced growth through church planting and church growth. In 2010, the ministers of Missouri gave Bishop Gillum a strong preference vote of confidence, and the Executive Committee reappointed him to serve for the ensuing General Assembly term. Prior to his appointment in Missouri, he served as the Adminsitrative Bishop of the North Central Region of the Church of God from 2002-2006, and served as the State Director of Evangelism and Home Missions in Northern Ohio for two years.
His wealth of pastoral experience, and his pastor’s heart, comes from the 21 years he served as the pastor of the Leavittsburg Church of God in Leavittsburg, Ohio. Bishop Gillum earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Lee University and earned a Master’s Degree from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee.
